BACK TO CONSTRUCTIONS!!!

Well, I am again back to my real job.

Almost one month before I finished my army duty. Since then I was looking for a new job. Before a few days I had one appointment with Mr. Tsouderos. By luck Mr. Tsouderos was one of my professors at the university. He has a construction company and he was looking for a new civil engineer. We had a talk and it was obvious that there were common points for a corporation. Now I am in charge for the construction of 5 three-floors houses at the area of Geraka ( not in zakynthos but in Athens). Early in the morning I have to be in Geraka but later I go to the central office of the company. It is near to Syntagma Square. It is on Voukourestiou Street. Voukourestiou street is the next road of Lycavitou street. So it is quite strange because I am again next to an organization that is involved with sea turtles. In a way I am happy because I will have the opportunity to visit often Medasset and to meet Ms. Venizelou.

But enough with the concrete and the office!!!

Before a few days I managed to gather some of the Greek volunteers of Archelon and to have a cup of coffee at Thiseio. Now, we have a new meeting in a week so as to talk about the new targets for the volunteers!!!



Crete I am coming!!! In less than 2 weeks I am traveling to Crete. I hope that it will be great!!!
And finally I will see my new sea turtles - friends !!!!

FOR JESSICA AND HER FRIENDS!!!!

One more presentation was done. As I had told you in the past every Sunday at the Rescue Center a presentation (slides show) is done for the visitors. This program will keep until the 4th of June. This Sunday me and Smaro ( one more Greek Volunteer) spoke about sea turtles all over the world. I really enjoy the presentations but this time it was a little bit different. I usually speak in Greek but this time we had 3 special visitors from Alaska. So I had to do my presentation in Greek and at once to translate in English! It was quite difficult because of my bad English!!! But I really enjoyed it!!!! Dear visitors!!! Dear Summer, Jessica, and ….. fuck!!!! I don’t remember your name dear friend from Alaska!!!

I think that now you must be somewhere in Italy, have good time!!! I hope to see you again!!! The world is so small!!!! Don’t you think??



p.s. Jessica, can you please give my e-mail to …… you know,,,, to the person of your company I cant remember his name ( the boy) in case he will need me for the summer programs! I couldn’t understand your letter from the paper you have written your names- e-mails. I managed to read only your e-mail.

The success continues!!!!

I am very happy!! yesterday I had one appointment with Mr. Benos. Mr. Benos is the general manager of Archelon. He is very satisfied with the presentations until now. The extra new things that Smaro and me asked from Mr. Benos are very likely to become reality. So at the next presentations we will invite the field leaders of the summer programs of Archelon and a new leaflet will be printed specially for the presentations. Until now there is advertisement to the new papers , at the official wed site of Archelon and finally it is supported from one European program (LIFE, NATURA 2000).


But the most important is one more of my ideas will become true!!! On 19th of March I will make a presentation to a group of scouts!!!!! Well, I suggested one special program for scouts. I hope that this program will be presented to over than 500 scouts!!!! So, now I have to start organizing the team of the volunteers who will set up this program!!! Maggie, turn down the symposium that you are organizing in Nicaragua and come to my team!!!!!


Faith friends!!!! Just faith!!!!


p.s.1 today I received one cd full of photos from the summer programs of Archelon in Crete 2005!!!!! Is anyone interested?

p.s.2 also I received one dvd full of photos and videos of the program in Zakynthos 2004 !!!!!! I wont give it so easy!!!!!

p.s.3. the photo I have uploaded is the formal announcement of Archelon for the presentations on Sundays mornings!!!!
